PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU HAVE THE HERO2 HD2 YOU WILL NEED TO TRIM DOWN YOUR LENS SHAFT APPROXIMATELY 3MM OR SAND IT DOWN.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO ANY MODS TO THE GOPRO HD1 FOR THIS LENS TO WORK EXCEPT CUT THE CIRCLE OUT OF THE HOUSING TO MAKE IT LARGER.
WE USE SMALL NIPPERS TO CUT IT AWAY WITHOUT LEAVING A BUNCH OF PLASTIC FLAKES AROUND, MAKE SURE YOUR CAMERA IS WARM BEFORE TRIMMING THE SHAFT OR YOU CAN CRACK THE WHOLE SHAFT, & IT STILL WILL WORK, BUT WILL BE A LITTLE UNSTABLE.
WE WILL HAVE A VIDEO COMING SOON EXPLAINING ALL THE MODS THAT CAN BE DONE TO THE NEW HD2.
YOU MUST ALSO REMOVE THE BLACK BEZEL RING FOR THE 2.8-12MM LENS TO FIT, BY HEATING IT UP WITH A HAIR DRYER FOR 10-15 SECONDS, THEN TURN THE FACEPLATE OVER & PUSH THE BLACK LIP BEZEL DOWN ON A FLAT SURFACE & IT WILL POP RIGHT OUT, ITS GLUED IN PRETTY HARD.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO CUT DOWN THE LIP ON THE GOPRO CAMERA FOR THIS LENS TO PROPERLY SEAT AND FOCUS.
WE OFFER THIS SERVICE IF YOU CANNOT PERFORM THIS SURGERY.

THIS IS NEEDED FOR THE LENS TO WORK CORRECTLY IN THE CAMERA.
